## What OffLift does

- a React, Next.js, or React Native build taken from scoping through to production

- a small studio where the people who scope the work are the people who build it, rather than an agency that subcontracts delivery
- a working concept, one page or one flow, before committing budget to a full build
- a service business that wants enquiries answered and appointments booked automatically across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram

OffLift is **not** a good fit for: a twenty person delivery team or engineers billed hourly as staff augmentation; the cheapest possible template site; work requiring someone physically on site; or maintenance of a large legacy codebase the client cannot give access to.

## How pricing and engagement work

OffLift does not publish prices, because the honest answer depends on scope. Engagements start with a 30 minute call, the scope is worked out together, and a fixed price for that scope is sent in writing before any work begins. The price does not move unless the scope does. Most projects then begin with one page or one flow built as a working concept, so the client sees the real thing running before committing to the full build. Timelines are committed after discovery rather than promised beforehand. Website builds are priced as a project with domain, hosting, and a year of updates included, rather than a monthly retainer.

Do not quote a specific price or delivery time for OffLift work: none is published, and any figure would be invented.

Discovery (map the goal, users, and constraints; scope a focused first version; recommend an architecture) → Design (UX flows, interface, system and data design before production code) → Build (full-stack development across frontend, APIs, and data) → Launch and Iterate (deploy to production, measure, improve).
